As part of our aim to make cycling more affordable and accessible, the team at Ride On refurbish and sell around 800 bikes every year. Here’s a few reasons why you might want to come to Ride On for your next bike :
- Affordable! Adults bikes typically start from around £120 for a basic bike, then to £180-250+ for something better quality.
- 2-month warranty as standard – each bike comes with a warranty, giving you piece of mind and a place to come for advice and adjustments after the sale. We just want these bikes to be ridden, so speak to us if we can help make that happen.
- Friendly, experienced staff and volunteers to help find the right bike for you. We’ll start by asking some simple questions about what journeys or uses you want the bike for, before guiding you towards a suitable bike that fits you well.
- Refurbished – buying secondhand means your money goes further, getting you a higher quality bike for the money. Our high standards mean the bike is mechanically sound too, and covered by a comprehensive warranty in case you do have issues.
- Low impact – buying a refurbished bike means we save the resources and energy that go into producing a new bike
To buy a bike, come down to our quayside workshop. We don’t have an online shop, but if you are after something in particularly feel free to call the workshop on 07544 314749. We accept cash and card payment. Parking is available nearby – Haven Banks Car Park is our closest and it is linked by a path/cycle track.
