If you like what we do at Ride On then perhaps you would like to get involved?
Current volunteer roles
We need people to volunteer for these specific jobs at the moment:
STOREMAN: Someone with a good knowledge of bike components and an eye for detail to sort, degrease, oil and sort our spares room would be welcomed with open arms and a virtually unlimited supply of hubs, derailleurs, quill stems and wheels.
PERFECTIONIST BIKE CLEANER: We have plenty of people who love fixing bikes, but there must be people out there who love polishing them! If you’d enjoy spending some time simply making our refurbished bikes look shiny and beautiful, we’d love to have you in the workshop.
There are many opportunities to volunteer. We appreciate all the help our volunteers give us. You can give as much or little time that suits you and there are any lots of different ways that you can help. Some of our volunteers help with fund raising. Others help by simply keeping the workshop tidy or helping to service and rebuild our reconditioned bikes.
Gaining practical and transferable skills, as well as gaining experience can prove invaluable in finding work. Lending a hand and developing your existing skills and knowledge is incredibly rewarding. As part of this charity, you could have valuable input.
Alongside all this – it’s good fun!
